BARBICAN CHRISTMAS MARKET

The Barbican hosts 10 days of seasonal shopping. From vintage and designer clothes, arts and crafts, jewellery, books and toys, it’s a great option for cultural Christmas shopping. As is requisite for a festive market, there’ll be plenty of mulled wine and mince pies, too.

 

 

 

GREENWICH MARKET AT CHRISTMAS

The market is open every day in the run up to Christmas. Set within a world heritage site, the covered market consists of more than 100 stalls selling crafts, jewellery, fashion, beauty, antiques, art and more, as well as festive street food and drinks to get you in the Christmas spirit.

 

 

TATE MODERN CHRISTMAS MARKET

Experience a traditional festive atmosphere as you explore the Tate Modern Christmas Market. Tuck into a German Bratwurst or a bag of roasted chestnuts as you browse the market for hand-crafted gifts and unique pieces. Children can also enjoy a ride on the Victorian carousel or pay a visit to Santa in his grotto.

 

MORE LONDON CHRISTMAS MARKET

This market sits by the river at More London Riverside and has over 35 stalls. Gifts on sale from the wooden chalet-style stalls include snoods, handmade jewellery, designer socks, cheeses, chocolates and gingerbread houses. If you like to snack while you shop, there’ll be a hog roast and a crepe stall to quell hunger pangs.

 

 

BUST CHRISTMAS CRAFTACULAR 

Turn Christmas shopping into a fun day out with this DIY market. Meet the experts who’ll show you how to craft your own gifts including an acrylic necklace, felt slippers and upcycled jewellery. There’ll be DJs, nibbles and drinks throughout the day as well as goodie bags and prizes.

 

 

 

 

 

SHOREDITCH CHRISTMAS TRIANGLE

The Shoreditch Design Triangle goes Christmassy for December with a style-oriented late-night crawl around the various trendy shops around Shoreditch High Street and Old Street. Expect music, mulled wine and mince pies as you mill around the wares.
